Osteria dal 1931: Great positive surprise
To be honest with you, I was not expecting to find such a good restaurant in Rome (other than Taverna Trilussa). But @jeffjagoe intrigued me with his post and decided to pay a visit!
I decided to walk from the city centre to the restaurant. The neighbourhood were it is situated is not a good one. Generally, Rome has an amazing historical centre, but in the outskirts there aren’t many surprises. I think I wouldn’t want to walk in this area, were it dark.
As an appetizer, we ordered artichoke with prosciutto. Both very good:
As a first course this stuffed Ravioli with cheese was amazing; simple and tasteful:
This pasta with bacon and artichokes was a dish to remember:
Also, this veal with tomato cherries was a very good choice for meat lovers:
Last but not least: the tiramisu: light, flavourful, delizioso!

Looks awesome! Glad you enjoyed! The roasted artichoke was like butter. It’s interesting how the tiramisu I got a few months ago was a completely different style than the one you have here (yours looks amazing!)...

Indeed...We love our cuisine and the mediterranean diet..it is like Greek philosophy: it all started here 😝😝😝
