Wow! It sounds scary how they just tried to get on the bus.. It's sad how immigration authorities handle situations like that! In my opinion they should just make it clearer that you should leave the country in 180 days.. It's always written somewhere in fine print, but I guess most travellers don't even read that, cause that's not what you're expecting while travelling. Telling them while getting a visa or entering the country should already help a lot.. I hope you will still be able to go back after going through all that and see your friends there again.
