El Salar de Uyuni | Travel with @thepassenger

Hi steemians!

I had the opportunity to travel to one of the most amazing places in South America: El salar de Uyuni

This dry salt lake is the biggest of the world, with more than 10K square kilometers and sitting at more than 3500 meters high.

Also, it's the biggest reserve of lithium in the earth, and lithium is used for batteries...so it's REALLY in danger as many companies want to start perforations on it. I really hope we can keep it without destroying as human beings have a really long story of destroying earth so far..

The main economic activity of course is working on salt mines, and recently tourism as well.
