Las Lajas Sanctuary, Ipiales, Colombia! My series #7

Hi Steemit, from the MOST AWESOME CHURCH that i've ever seen in my life. It was some kinda luck that i've been in ipiales for almost 4 days. Actually the idea was directly going to Bogota from there but i think it was just nice to spend a few days without doing anything and just rest. Probably i'm the only tourist stayed in Ipiales that many days. Some of you know what i mean but for those who doesn't understand, Ipiales is the border between Ecuador and Colombia. And a bit relaxed. Like you wouldn't want to go outside when it gets a bit dark. Just even a little bit dark is enough.

But who would know i'd see the best church of my life here?

Ok let's start, sorry for my i love new york sweater. That was the only thing i had that time to keep me a bit warm. And sorry for those glasses. Even they seem like photoshop, they were not. Unfortunately i was really wearing them.

I was really not expecting to see something like this. Something like from Universal Studios. Over the river. This was really amazing and i hope everyone will have a chance to see this cool place. It has a strange story that i read from the wall, if i remember it right.

Years years ago a woman and her kid are getting caught in the storm. They're hiding out in the gorge. The woman suddenly feeling a force and when she looks up she sees the image of Virgin Mary on the rock. At that moment woman's kid was cured of her inability to hear.

However you can say just because of it, can you build a church like this in a dangerous place? The answer is yes. They did.

To be honest if i knew this place is so awesome and gothic, i'd go with better equipments to have some dramatic shots for my next album. (no, i can't sing, my voice is terrible so don't worry)

I feel like this is some kinda wedding pose that you laugh years later. Only there's no groom but there's a wonderful church. That's enough i suppose.

Proof that the glasses were real. UNFORTUNATELY. And again don't worry I'm not blonde anymore.
