Statue Series - What's The Story: A Spirit Bear
Spotted this Moon Bear while visiting Prince George, Canada. A beautiful fiberglass statue, one of Spirit Bears collections (a cultural project in 2005), which you can find in many locations in Prince George.
Sun too bright, we couldn't really look at the camera 😂
While this Moon Bear is black (check out the painting! Superb!), on other locations the Spirit Bears are whites and/or colorful, but each bear has different painting one to another. A couple even painted on the whole body. I believe they are done by different artists though.
This Moon Bear👆 was painted in 2006, to raise funds for BC Easter Seals and is located on 5th Avenue.
Definitely not to be missed should you plan to visit Prince George 😊
