How to Get Money and Take Your Dream Vacation - Time to Go and See the World!

Traveling and meeting making new friends is just about the coolest thing you can do. But traveling even if you know how to budget, can still be expensive and always takes money. This keeps a lot of people from gong to places they dream about. So here are some ideas for how you can save money and travel anywhere you want to go.

Create and Live Within a Budget

Budgeting can be tough in the beginning but you will find that you are probably spending money on things they you either do not really need or can get cheaper if you shop. Even if switching to a new option saves you $30 per month, it all adds up and gets you closer to your trip! If you live near your work, walking or riding your bike could save you gas or bus money. Try eating in more rather than going out so much. Make a list and you will be surprised at all of the areas you can take a look at to save money every day!

Use Coupons and Reward Points

Yes I know it sounds old school, but coupons save you cash on expensive food costs. Whether it’s loyalty card reward vouchers or coupons from the local newspaper, they all out money directly into your pocket. You can also sign up for money-saving sites which can give you some good discounts or special offers on things you probably use all the time. The coupons can get sent directly to your phone and scanned at the register. There are even Starbucks coupons you can get this way.

Sell Your Old Stuff

If you are holding on to things that you never use any more you might be sitting on hard cash. You do not need the old garden furniture in the garage, or all of those old phones or video game consoles that you think will one day be classics. Sell them because the longer you hold onto them the less valuable they will be. Do a garage sal and put it on Facebook or Craigslist. I did this one time and made several hundred dollars from stuff I had not used in years.

Learn about Investing in Cryptocurrencies

These days you can invest small amounts of money and become very profitable. Cryptocurrencies are a great idea (think Steem first of course). Before you invest however you should learn about the companies and how to invest properly and look to experts for advice. But there is a chance you might be able to multiply your money and soon be off on your dream trip. This is nor investment advice however and you should always consult a professional before you invest.

There you have it. The ways I use to find extra money to travel. I also take any extra jobs I can get and when I get them, the money goes directly into my travelling fund. I take one nice trip each year this way, but my trips are usually local because we have so many beautiful places here in Thailand. It may take you a while to save for your dream trip, but believe me it will be worth it. Take your time and save a little each day and soon you will reach your goal and then you are off! Good luck.
