Upside Down World Cebu - Philippines
The Upside Down World in Cebu is a little different. In this modern art museum the whole world is turned upside down. It is the perfect place to take some crazy pictures and have a lot of fun posing in different rooms and different locations. It is not only fun for kids but also for the whole family or a group of friends.
Before we went to Cebu this year I did some research online about what we could do on in the city on a rainy day and I stumbled upon the Upside Down World in Cebu. The place looked fun and I decided that we have to check it out. So a couple of days after we arrived in Cebu, we called some friends and asked if they want to join us. So we jumped in the car and a few minutes later we were there.
As soon as you enter the museum you will notice that even the front desk is upside down. It already gives you a little idea of what’s to come. But before you enter the other rooms they assign you a guide and you have to take your shoes off. The guide will lead you through the rooms, make photos and give you some ideas on how to pose in this environment. Later on you can explore everything on your own and let your creativity on taking photos run wild.
Most of the rooms are decorated like the ones in a normal house. Here are some examples:
- Living room
- Kitchen
- Bedroom
- Laundry area
- Bathroom
But there are also other places like a market, a casino or a library for example. Every room is very detailed which creates a nice atmosphere. You have different veges and fruits at the market, salad on the counter in the kitchen and even some slippers in the bedroom. Just to name a few.
Your creativity knows no bounds when it comes to photos at this place and thanks to the guide we also have some photos of all of us together which is great. We had a great time and a lot of fun there and I am sure you will enjoy this place, too.
