FLORIDA ... always a good idea!
Florida is one of my favourite destinations in the world when I need a rest. My Top Spots are:
- Anna Maria Island
- Fort Myers Beach
- Sanibel Island
Most of all I love the long white beaches, nice sand bars offering great salads and live music. You can watch the most impressive sunsets there. Sometimes they even bet on the exact time when the sun will go down. The winner table earns a bottle of wine.
Holiday the way it should be!
Key West is a nice place. Especially Mallory Square where everybody meets in the evening. They have sunset celebrations, as well. But is is not the best island for swimming. Way up North on the Gulfside you pass Fort Myers Beach with the tall palm trees and their huge long shadows that is the best place for days on the beach. When you shuffle in the sand you even can find "Sanddollars".
Florida is famous for the lovely letter boxes along the streets. Moreover it is great fun to ride a car there. You can cross so many famous bridges like the Seven Mile Bridge that leads you down to the South.
