Travel with Tara : The car that vanished! The haunting in Joshua Tree National Park, California!
Before I start posting pictures of Joshua Tree National Park, I want to share a little incident that took place when we were leaving the park.
Once the sun sets in Joshua Tree National Park, it's pitch black! You have to rely on a torch or the headlights from your vehicle.
The roads had minimal curves and we were exiting the park. We knew we didn't have anyone near us as they were no cars for miles. After a while, we saw a car parked by the road with the tail lights on! It was a few meters away from us and it was on the same road. There was no other road other than the one we were on, it was a single stretch! We lost the car ahead of us for a bit because of a curve, once we were on the straight part of the road, we could no longer see the car!!
I mean, it was right there seconds ago! And then poof! It disappears!
Maybe we were too tired and imagining things. There were three of us driving that day and we all noticed it. We were pretty creeped out! What an experience!!
Now I'll share the pics from my travel!
The park got it's name from the Joshua Trees growing in that region. They look like cacti!
This is a photo of Barker Dam!
It was a lovely walk and a nice payoff with beautiful reflecting views of the rocks off the water!
That's a Joshua Tree!
This is a desert environment so you will see a lot of rocks!
I loved this one!
Here's something interesting!
That's the Skull Rock! It was my favorite stop!!
Nature is just so awesome!
Arch Rock is another attraction! You can climb the rock as well. Easy to slip and fall. So go forward with caution!
The Arch Rock in "Light Off Mode".
The trip was very interesting! Experienced something completely weird, maybe paranormal too!
If you like to take long walks, this is the place to be. It gets very hot in summer! Carry lots of water because you can get easily dehydrated and there is no source of water nearby!
Thank you for reading!
