Travel with Tara : Bryce Canyon, Utah, USA - Part 2

in #travel7 years ago

We spent only half a day in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah and were able to cover a good amount of the park. One of the beautiful arches we came across was the Natural Bridge! The bright orange of the bridge is a beautiful contrast to the surrounding green, sprinkled with a little white snow!

Natural Bridge, Bryce Canyon National Park

This arch is in the Rainbow point, very close to the parking lot. There is no hiking necessary, only a few minutes of walking. The bridge was formed due to the erosion of the rocks and the color is due the the rich iron content. Look how marvelous it turned out after several thousands of years or even more!

There are several stunning views in all its grandeur in the National Park. Here are a few pics of what you may see as you drive by.

The pic above looks like the Thor's Hammer at Bryce, I'm not sure though. It is definitely one of my favorite points to be at!

We were almost finished with our Bryce tour and while heading out of the National Park came across several beautiful reddish-orange rock formation clearly visible just beside the road.

Can you spot the Airplane ?

Here is another pic.

Look at that tunnel!! I love tunnels in a road and honestly, the drive was so amazing with all the beautiful scenery around!
