Khao Phlai Dam, a beautiful natural tourist destination in Nakorn Srithamarat province, in the South of Thailand

Khao Phlai Dam is a natural tourism destination that is located in Nakorn Srithamarat province, in the South of Thailand. (not far away from Phatthalung, my hometown)

Khao means mountain

Phlai means male elephant

Dam (in Thai language) means black

The sculpture of the beautiful giant black elephant on the mountain can explain well the meaning of this place.

Khao Phlai Dam is a place that is a home for various wildlife; i.e. deer, birds, etc.

It has abundant forests, beautiful sea views, and mountains view.

Yeah! While walking around the area, you can touch cool and refreshing breeze both from the sea and forest.

When you stand on the mountain, you can see an amazing cape that is straight to the sea and the wonderful scenery like in the following photos.

The white sandy beach is beautiful and great for relaxing....

I think that nature can heal your body and mind…. And Khao Phlai Dam is one of the beautiful natural tourist destinations that you must not miss if you are nature lovers. ;)
