Are Dog Parks in Mexico Safe? A Siberian Husky in Guadalajara

There's no denying it.

The culture of the US and Mexico regarding dogs is vastly different. In Mexico, dogs are treated more like animals and many owners consider US citizens to be "spoiling" their dogs in comparison. We don't necessarily think one is right or wrong. Still, we had some hesitations bringing our Siberian Husky, Laska, to a dog park in Mexico for the first time.

"Are dogs aggressive in Mexico? Is my dog safe in Mexico? Are dog parks clean in Mexico?" We had a lot of questions.

For the first time ever, we took Laska to a dog park in Guadalajara, Mexico to see what it's like.

We use this action cam to shoot our videos.

Dawww her face always makes me smile! Great post, that park looked STUNNING, it seemed to me way more than just a "run" those obstacles were so cool!

My moms dog has the same dominance issue now and again with her cattle dog mix at the park as well- and she's a trainer and behaviorist!

Sometimes its just a breed thing -- tough guys ;)

Laska seem lovable and playful. Hahahaha Maddie said she is equally as bad. Laska didn't have any problem adapting to those dogs, and those dogs were quite friendly too, even though at first, they want to claim territory. Hahaha. It's good for Laska, she must be excited. Now, she won't feel left out. Truce, hahahaha even stevens.
