VIA RAIL CANADA #1

Boarding at Union staion in Toronto, the train was minutes from home. The trip was past due after a hard month at the office. Erik was still suprised he made it that far. He didn't really need the money but was in need of something to write on his tax reciept. Walking down front street, he was excited to be getting out of the city. The temperature was warming coming late may and the air started to smell sweet.

As Erik came upon the station he was unaware of himself boarding. Suddenly finding himself comfortable in his cabin. He started to think of the prices on the train. Prices onboard VIA rail can be more expensive than flying, especially the way Erik traveled. Thousands of dollars on a two person sleeper cabin. Of course Erik was alone, but he finally had the cash and was tired of sleeping in a chair. He started reminiscing of the trips him and his dad would take in economy class. He stopped himself.

Erik got up and poured himself a drink, opened up his book and fell asleep trying to decipher Descartes.
