Getting to the skyscraper's rooftop or how to make your staying in Bangkok more memorable

in #travel8 years ago

Now I’m going to tell you about absolutely free of charge and very easy way to get up to the skyscraper’s rooftop in Bangkok. If you’ve never been at this amazing city you should do it immediately. Awesome people, good and cheap food and lots of emotions.

Usually tourists get tours around temples, but it’s a bit boring, so I prefer to get experiences outside the tourist way. That’s why I explore the cities and find some amazing places there.

It is a quite easy to get up, but you need to have enough courage and cunning.

A way #1

At first you must find the building, here’s a link to Google Maps. That’s a United Center and it’s 187 meters tall.

If you reached it, you need to find a reception and tell that you are going to Clouds 47 restaurant, it’s located at the 47th floor, but you need go to the 46th, go out of elevator and use a fire escape. The next you need to go upstair to the rooftop. There is a small temple.

Don’t forget to fix the door, because it works only in one way. So if you don’t fix it with something like a fresh newspaper, you will have to find an other way to exit this building.

A way #2

The second rooftop I’ve been is on the Empire Tower. It was more impressive because we saw the sunset there, so a better time to get there is about 5:30 PM, but it depends of a season.

All you need is to come to Empire Tower and get a pass to Nikon corporation to the 45th floor. But you don’t need a 45th floor, you need to go to the 53th floor and use a fire escape for a few floors.

There are no tourists, railings and anything else. That’s a good place for a meditation.
