60 Seconds Trips #7 - Join me on a 60 Seconds trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam
It is said that Nha Trang has the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, and after visiting this old, small fishing town, I believe it might be true.
Getting there
We spent around 1 hour in a Dash-8 airplane, from the busy and loud Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), before arriving in Nha Trang. After having spent a few days in the very busy, loud and up-tempo streets in Saigon, it was a breeze to arrive in the small, quiet and down-tempo town Nha Trang, we could feel the pulse- and stress level go down when arriving.
Vinpearl
On an island, just outside the town, they've built a resort park/waterpark. And to get there, you have to travel by cable cars across the sea (you could also use powerboats/ferries, but I recommend trying the cable cars). It's the longest cable car stretch in Vietnam (and maybe the world?), stretching 3320 meters! It played calming music, and it was an amazing experience!
We got a bit unlucky on our way back, as the cable cars suddenly stopped, and the cars dangled back and forth. My wife got scared, but thankfully, after 4-5 minutes, it started again, and we got safely back.
Are you scared of heights? - If so, I recommend that you use one of the boat-services to get to Vinpearl :)
Find your zen
It's easy to find your zen, relax and enjoy life in Nha Trang.
You should..
If you're in Vietnam, I strongly recommend that you consider taking a trip to Nha Trang. It's a perfect place to relax from the busy streets of Saigon.
Thank you for reading my post!
Very cool tipp! Could you stay on the island? Or is it rather for day trips?
Thank you.
Yes, you can stay at the island, but that was a resort that was waaay out of our budget! :)
By the way, you seem to have many interesting posts! I'll be following you :)
