How's everything? Are you enjoying your Friday night? Last time I showed you around Taiguli Sanlitun, did you like it? :) Instead of bringing you to some fancy bars in Beijing today, I'm gonna take you to Peking University's library 📚. How hardworking we are! ;p If you are curious about how the library is different from yours, then please follow me!

大家好嗎？你們打算如何度過這美好的週五晚上？上次，我帶大家去了北京的太古里三里屯，大家喜歡嗎？:)這次我就不帶大家去玩了，我打算帶大家到北大圖書館參觀一下！📚 看看我們多勤奮！;p 如果你好奇北大圖書館長成什麼樣的話，那就請跟我來吧！

Peking University Library is one of the oldest Chinese libraries with contemporary design. Its name was changed from "The Book Collection Building of the Imperial University of Peking" to "Peking University Library" after the Xinhai Revolution.

北大圖書館是中國最早的現代新型圖書館之一。辛亥革命後，「京師大學堂藏書樓」改名為「北京大學圖書館」。另外，它還被國務院列為首批國家重點古籍保護單位，有著很高的歷史文化價值。reference

The lobby is well designed, providing sufficient learning space and allowing natural light penetration. ☀️

它的大堂設計得很好，不僅有足夠的學習空間，還有充足的自然光☀️

It's so considerate of the library to provide electrical outlets on studying tables:

書桌上有插頭，實在是太貼心了！

Seems that this fellow student is learning Chinese, the most difficult language in the world! 🇨🇳Gd luck ;ppp

看來這位學生在學中文呢！這可是世界上最難學的語言哦🇨🇳！加油 ;pppp

It's graduate season! So many students have left a note for the Uni:

畢業季來了！許多學生都為母校留了言：

This student has studied at the University for 10 years!!! Unbelievable!

這位學生在北大讀了10年！！難以置信！

This one has left the University with regret because she couldn't find herself a boyfriend TVT

這位帶著遺憾離開北大，因為她還沒找到男朋友 TVT

It's quite surprising that we could find a karaoke booth in the Library🎤. It's actually for graduates to record a speech about their feelings towards the University before they leave :)

在大學圖書館裏有卡拉OK亭可不是常見的事🎤。其實，這是為應屆畢業生準備的，讓他們能夠在離開北大前，對母校說出自己的心聲:)

Look at the collections! There are selves exclusively for Nobel laureates in Literature ✒️

這裏還有專門為諾貝爾文學獎得主設立的暑書架呢！✒️

Here's the studio of Ji Xianlin, the famous Chinese indologist, linguist, palaeographer, historian and writer.

這是季羨林工作室，可惜沒有開放。

Haha, this is how Peking university library looks like! It is large and beautiful, and it's been the favourite place for many students for hundred of years. Guess I'd stop here:)) Next time I’ll share more of my experience in Beijing with you, cheers! 😆
