Golden gate. Kyiv

This building reached to us from distant 12 centuries. A majestic gate with the powerful grate of gate guarded a hail Kyiv in those distant times. This was above and parade all included in a city. At excavations the fragments of mosaic were found, bits and pieces painting that gave to understand what was church. Надвратная a church was adopted by the Blagoveshchensk church. In 1982 to celebration to the 1500year of City of Kyiv Golden Gate was restored and driven to the supposed primary kind.

There was the final reconstructing and realization of preservation and restoration of gate of the saved fragments in 2007. Improved original appearance, wooden revetments. At Golden Gate a museum is done, where it is possible to look laying and ancient walls, rise in a church and see from the height of vinicity of city.
