Tourist or Backpacker ?
Anyone who has done the two who know that there are differences between Turistear and
Trekking. And sometimes, not for the backpack and vice versa. Here are five basic differences: what is your profile? Are you backpacker or tourist?
1.- Travel Schedule:
• Tourist: Often prefers everything to be done by the operator. When you plan without professional help, you have to deal with the other travelers about what to do.
• Backpacker : usually planning alone. Even because backpackers travel alone. In some cases as a couple. And planning for the general general in the history of the history, the origin and culture of the place you visit, in knowing which are the hostels where to make the reservation. Basic. Backpackers prefer to travel for a feeling: if a city is not fresh, it takes another course. If it is necessary to spend the days in bar and not museum in museum will be.
Tourist
2.- Lodging:
• Tourist: Staying at the hotel. And the differences between hotel and hostel are not well known. The tourist wants to be served well, sleep in comfort and with a breakfast of those that are included in the price per night.
• Backpacker: Hostel in priority. Have a bed, a closet and a shower with hot, big water! The backpacker knows that he will not spend much time in the hostel, since the trip is the most interesting that hay. And he knows he's going to get so tired he can sleep in a corner. Backpackers also prefer to spend more buying their own food than the ones that are added to a hotel.
- Luggage:
• Tourist: Take the suitcase with wheels, because the tourist knows that it does not have to carry all the parts, while looking for a hotel in the last hour. After all, everything is scheduled so there is no unforeseen. Inside the suitcase with wheels, another bag, empty clear, for the memories bring memories during the trip.
• Backpacker: Take the backpack, as it is more convenient to wander through your miles of destinations. Carry only what is necessary.
- Clothing:
• Tourist: One suit per day is essential. Day shoes, evening shoes, sneakers, sneakers. Clothes to go out at night, a game with night shoes. And more than a million things they know, sometimes they do not even have time to use them.
• Backpacker: A pants (or two, if the shoulders allows), several shirts, sneakers, shoes and ready. Sir, you can not go into the restaurant with those shoes. No stress: Visit another restaurant.
- End of trip
• Tourist: Visit as many museums as possible, the largest number of churches, monuments, squares and famous cafes that are reputed places.
• Backpacker: museums, churches, monuments, cafes and bars are also part of the sequence of a backpacker. But the goal is to experiment. Know not only that museum that can not go unnoticed, get out of it and walk around the neighborhood to understand the local life. Go to the supermarket to meet your daily needs (and leave there with ingredients to make pasta for dinner in the hostel), sit on a park bench that do not meet the tour schedule. Discover a restaurant frequented only by the people of the region (and understand the "magic" of being surrounded by the culture of the place).
