How to eat an Oyster Lollipop - Ate Great 24
We don't mean oyster flavored lollipops, we mean oyster lollipops. My very 1st oyster lollipop and I imagined it to be a little different. Hiroshima, Japan is known to have some of the best oysters in the world in terms of size, quality and taste so I wasn't surprised to find oyster lollipops. They were readily sold at the Hiroshima J.R. Shinkansen Station and I'm already an oyster lover as it is.
I was just taking a chance that they were great because I bought 10 double packs so everyone in my family can also try them. Surprisingly, they were seasoned perfectly with the balance between sweet and salty tipping towards perfected saltiness for our taste buds. The texture confirmed they were already boiled because one may confuse them to by raw oysters while still packaged. The taste was amazing that these oyster lollipops would be dangerous to people with the munchies.
If you ever get the chance to travel to Hiroshima, Japan, remember these oyster lollipops. They make a great gift even more than making a great snack. Thanks for joining us on Ate Great 24.
