Double Rainbows at The Resort Angel Hill

We were greeted with double rainbows at The Resort Angel Hill after heavy rains. Overlooking the mountain at Suppadu Lake, gave me a sense of peace, especially staring at the double rainbows. Suppadu Lake is located in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand and is the main Northeastern city in the country. It's the first time I've visited this resort and I was instantly impressed with the design of the resort.

The resort is built into the mountainside and the rooms still have the original boulders in them. They built around the boulders and trees into the rooms giving the rooms a very great feeling of being in actual nature.

We arrived on a Sunday which usually means all the local guests are headed back into Korat, and we literally had the resort to ourselves. The staff was so hospitable and started preparing most of the food we bought from the Suppadu local village market. The resort itself is perfect for couples and groups of adults that love mountain views and a great laugh over bottles of spirits. I would say that it's risky for families with children under 8 years old because of the mountainous terrain and design of the resort.

There's a chill in the night mountain air 7 months out of the year and we were lucky to be in one of these cooler months. Our visit had some rain so we were able to see the fog come in and out. It's at a height where it looks like you can walk on the fog and skip rocks over it. As the fog clears, you see a few resorts and a few impressive private homes. We spent a few days barbequing and reminiscing about old times. This is the perfect resort for building relationships or reminiscing about past great times because of its location. I'll definitely keep coming back with family & friends throughout this great journey we call life.
