Let's Hear It For New York

in #travel5 years ago

Opened in 1902, The Flatiron Building on Fifth Avenue was designed by architect Daniel Burnham. In 1966, the Flatiron Building was designated as New York landmark and then added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Ten years later it was designated as a National Historic Landmark.

This famous location can be spotted in countless TV shows and movies. James Stewart and Kim Novak filmed on top of the Flatiron Building during the production of Bell, Book and Candle in 1958.

I wouldn't mind having an apartment right on the bow of that place. I bet the rent is so high I'd pass out just hearing the price.

Same here! I'd love to live there but you'd have to be so rich!
