It's called Boom Supersonic, and is backed by the famous Richard Branson, it will change the way we travel in the future, well it may do because a predicted price for a seat on one of these aircraft will cost £1,700 for the three and half hour flight from London to New York.

Sounds expensive doesn't it, but the 3,500 mile trip works out at just £0.50 per mile, not bad for supersonic travel I suppose. It works out about the same cost as travelling by an Uber Taxi.

When asked about the difference to the Concorde the company replied it will be ten per cent faster, thirty times quieter which is an unbelievable claim and seventy five per cent more affordable.
