Sad, this is the remains of the missing climber's body that was found by his girlfriend.

British climber Esther Dingley was declared missing 9 months ago. Esther's remains were finally found by her lover 2 weeks ago. Here is the sad story of Daniel Colegate, lover of British climber Esther Dingley.

Esther herself was declared missing in the mountains of Pyreness, in southwestern Europe which forms a natural border between France and Spain, in November 2020. Esther went missing during a month-long solo trekking trip in the mountains.

The SAR team managed to find Esther's climbing equipment. However, Esther herself was not found. Since Esther disappeared, Daniel went to look for his lover's body. Daniel also walked for hundreds of kilometers in the mountains in search of his lover.

Daniel's search also found a bright spot two weeks ago. Daniel finds pieces of human bones which the forensic team eventually confirms as Esther.

"At this point, the most likely hypothesis, judging from the location and other indications, is that the cause is presumed to be an accident. A full investigation is underway to confirm the details about this tragedy," said LBT Global, launching 9News.

Esther's remains were found entirely on Monday last week. A joint investigation team and the French and Spanish police also suspect Esther's death due to an accident.
