The lockdown has kept the Waterworld theme park in Stoke-on-Trent closed for quite some time. Right after it opened, visitors were enthusiastic to make a crowd even though the water was shark and the changing room was very dirty.

"After the lockdown, I thought the whole place would be cleaned up, but when I got to the pool, the water was green," said one visitor in his review on the travel site, published by the Daily Star.

Some visitors to the indoor tropical water theme park at Waterworld Leisure Resort in the heart of Midlands, Stoke-on-Trent, 32, complained of long lines. The queue can take up to 15 minutes. This makes some visitors decide to go home.

Then, there were complaints about the availability of lockers in the locker room. Some did not get their share, even if they could, it turned out to be very dirty. Seeing this, Waterworld boss Mo Chaudry responded after a series of bad reviews were uploaded and caused the rating to drop.

"Those who testify that our place is overcrowded, unsafe or unhygienic are totally inaccurate and irresponsible. The fact is much different," said Chaudry.

"We also extended our daily opening hours to two hours, until 19.00 to help visitors get in completely. We just want people to have fun," he explained.

"We have pool guards and pool attendants on duty to ensure the safety of the pool," he continued.

In addition, the amusement park ensures that crowds are not possible. This is because there is a time limit per visitor.

"We have pool guards and pool attendants on duty to ensure the safety of the pool," he said.
