I spent many nights camping at the Dunethin rock camp ground as a young cub and scout. It is the local scout Water activity centre for learning canoeing. The camp was once the local primary school and the kids came by river boat to the wharf.

Yes had lots of fun there but not when you’ve been swimming in the river and they catch a 3m Bull Shark right were you were swimming. Yikes
