Washington Navel Orange from North Sumatra

On our way of Sibolga, we drove through the highlands of Berastagi, region as a haven overgrown by different species of trees. Potatoes, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, pineapple, citrus and many other trees. At that time, we have a strong desire to see immediate citrus plantations, and we can pick them for us to eat and take home. "Jeruk Berastagi" that was so popular name, sweet and very refreshing. Maybe you should try it later :)

Actually the sweet orange is a citrus WNO (Washington Navel Orange). Because many planted in Brastagi, North Sumatra, ultimately local people call it the sweet orange Brastagi. Once satisfied picking oranges and buy some pineapple, we continued our journey to the city of Medan.
