A man spends 20 years traveling around the world with a Land Rover

The 72-year-old Peter Crayton and his wife Eileen spent 20 years on the longest journey around the world with their Land Rover Discovery, cutting more than 200,000 miles since they began their big challenge in 1997. Here are a set of photos of their journey that they cut off the world.

It was worth mentioning that the beginning of their journey was from the Arabian Peninsula, and specifically from Saudi Arabia, when Mr. Peter was Vice President of Olayan Group in the early 1990s, one of the largest manufacturing companies in the Middle East.

In 1998, Mr. Peter cut off Jordan and Syria, and Olayan's employers supported his ambitious plans to reach new heights.

A satellite phone was used in the car to keep in touch with his office during his long trip outside the Middle East.

In 1999, Peter arrived in Pakistan after launching from Dubai, across the Himalayas in China, and made a trip to remote areas there. After three months of travel he arrived on the Pacific coast of northwest Siberia, shipped his car to North America, and went there to complete the march.

In the spring of 2000 he arrived in Alaska, across the continent and into Newfoundland after three months of travel, and it took two more months during the fall to travel back to the starting point in the Middle East, having traveled a great distance from the world. We are proud of what we have achieved, driving 26,000 miles in amazing places in the world. "

Peter's journey did not stop there. He completed the second round of his global challenge in 2002, starting from the Southern Hemisphere. He traveled in Australia and went to South America, passing 5000 miles through the Andes from Chile to Colombia.

The couple spent 2003 in South America and then in 2004 shipped his car from South America to Morocco. He traveled throughout Northwest Africa and spent 2006, 2007 and 2008 there before returning to Britain.

By the beginning of 2010, he had driven from the far north of Scandinavia (the northernmost place on the planet) to the southernmost point in the world, and Mr. Peter and his wife Eileen continued their brilliant adventure.
