Chasing Bubbles | One of My Favorite Documentaries of All Time

I hope you guys like this one, this is one of my favorite documentaries of all time.

Chasing Bubbles is about Alex Rust. Alex is an Indiana Farm Kid turned commodities day trader in Chicago. Despite working a very high level job and earning a lot of money, he actually lived in a van when doing it. He was definitely an adventurer and a free spirit so kind of interesting he to also see him in a job like that.

He was kind of unhappy with the traditional life so he wound up selling everything, abandoned his "yuppie" life in Chicago and bought a cheap sailboat and set out to go sailing. Along his adventure he picked up people he met on the internet along the way, as well as had some friends sail with him for parts of the journey.

He had dozens of cheap digital cameras lying around the boat and encouraged everyone to film everything so they really did document the entire journey. This guy has such an amazing love for life and adventure and meeting new people it's really fun to watch.
