Hello Beautiful People!

Nepal is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with mountains and hills. Nepal is most known for the highest peak of the world Mount Everest and Buddha. Mount Everest, with a head-spinning height of 8848 meters, is known as the Sagarmatha in Nepalese language. Although it is to be noted that there isn’t much difference in the heights between the first peak and the second highest peak which is K2 whose height is 8612m.

It is reported that Mount Everest was first conquered by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Although, we don't know if any local people climbed beforehand. However, people from all over the world came to climb the biggest mountain in the world after Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. But one this is for sure it can be uncompromisingly challenging to conquer.

Many accidents had been recorded in the Mount Everest history. Many climbers had died on their way up or down. With such a challenge some of the death may have been avoided but not all. Despite the serious risk of life climbing Mount Everest is a dream for a lot of people all over the world. Thousands of people come to climb Mount Everest every year and few of them die during the adventure.

Tourists exploring Mount Everest is increasing rapidly which is really great for the economy and the people. There can be a hundred climbers every day in Mount Everest. We were shocked by recent news Mount Everest death toll rises to 11 amid overcrowding concerns (Source: CNN). It was a very sad moment for all of us. It is reported that many people died during the year. So, can this accident be prevented? It sure can or at least some of it. The government need to take this problem seriously more than ever. However, some credit to the government and management that such accidents in Mount Everest seem to be on the fall. Mount Everest is one of the main source of the tourism industry in the country so there must be proper investigation and lesson learned.

The height of Mount Everest is being measured partly following 2015 earthquake and there were some reports that the height could have been affected by the earthquake. The measurement process had been completed and result is expected in about a month time.

Do you think that Mount Everest height has shrunk?

Hi, thanks for the post! I enjoyed reading it. It'll be interesting to learn the results of the new measurements after the 2015 earthquake.

I included a link to your article in my recent post, Business, entrepreneurship, and fintech micro-summaries for June 18, 2019, and set the beneficiary so that you'll receive 5% of the results from that post.

I came over from @upvotebuilders to say hi! Gorgeous pictures!

Thank you so much!!
