I did a snorkeling trip with Cavemen which I can totally recommend. They are very aware of the effect of tourism (and their tours) on the reef and the animals and try to minize it as much as possible. They encouraged us to take plastic out of the water as well. Although it felt a bit like emptying the sea with a teaspoon..
Hopefully, more and more tours will become aware of their impact if they want to continue, and there are a lot of similar actions even with hiking tours. I guess it's more about changing mentalities than making a big difference but still, that's a step in the right direction!
