Malta looks a pretty nice place. I've not been but my wife went with a friend some years back - she took some nice photographs. The tower is pretty fancy as old red towers go. The WW2 stuff would be of real interest to me and I'd like to visit the Malta at War Museum.
There was a lot we didn't see due to lack of time and having the presence of a moody teenager, I regret not renting the car for any extra day. It's a small island but there's a lot to see.
