Coney Island - Brooklyn, New York
A quick glimpse of a sunny day on the beachfront of Coney Island.
Its a fun place to relax and has a completely different vibe to other parts of New York.
Its slightly tacky, still a bit seedy, but with a lovely sandy beach and boardwalk with views ut across the Atlantic Ocean.

I guess there must be quite few Coney Islands scattered around the globe, as coney is an old-fashioned English word for rabbit.

I've been a couple of times to NYC but never to Coney Island. Nice to see these pictures!
I can recommend it if the weather is real hot (as NYC summers tend to be) - its a good place to cool off, away from the oppressive inner-city!
