Dad's Bus.jpg

As many of you now know, my Father lives in a mini-bus and basically camps as a lifestyle. He's a full-time camper. He mostly camps in remote areas of the Western United States. Sometimes in a campground but mostly not. He loves rockhounding and has gathered quite the collection of specimens. He drops off boxes of rocks here at my place when he comes to visit. Here is what he gathered while camping on BLM land near Woodruff, Arizona.....

Pretty isn't it!!!!

In case you are not familiar with the terrain out there, here is a picture he sent me of the area.....

I prefer wooded areas myself. Woods with flowing water! Dad likes the desert climate. He spends most of the year in this kind of desolate environment. If you could live in the wild, which would you prefer?

NOTE: All pictures were taken by my Dad.
