The life of stray animals

in #travel3 years ago

There were two people feeding the stray cats at the pier that evening - a girl and a boy.

The girl was arguing with the dog when I got there. She told him to wait for the cats to feed first, and only then to eat from their food.

Did you know that street animals of different species often do not fight and quarrel with each other - they are competitors for food, but they are together in their unfortunate fate.

Personally, I was amazed to see this unusual sight for me - cats and a dog that behave so calmly when meeting each other.

For them here, at that moment, something else was more important - the movement and actions of this young woman, who distributed them food in separate piles and poured water into bowls made of cut plastic bottles.

Do you also know what is the way to leave such a plastic bowl outside? I didn't know before I saw what this young woman was doing. There were big stones in the plastic bowls of water. To make sure they don't take off and disappear somewhere in the strong wind at the pier.

And that's a pretty unusual sight, isn't it? Cats against the backdrop of the sea and a large ship.
But it is not an unusual sight in the big and in the small port cities at all.
