Trip #15 JASPER/BANFF NATIONAL PARK, Canada – PART 5-MAJESTIC LAKE MALIGNE - Benade’s By Nature

This part of our Journey to Jasper National Park holds a special place. We really had no idea WHAT we were in for in seeing. Again, this was lake was just HIGHLY recommended as part of the park to see! So, we set out as a family at 5pm as the sun was just beginning to go down up here in Canada. Our road trip pictures and views were pretty darn gorgeous…just so hard because the GRANDNESS is SO much BIGGER than the picture will ever be able to show!

Our first taste of what was to come was our stop at Medicine Lake a much smaller lake than the lake to come, Lake Maligne. We were taken back by it’s beauty. Still having no idea what we were in for with Lake Maligne.

Our road traveled along the perimeter of Lake Medicine through the mountains ahead.

Twenty Minutes later, we arrived to Lake Maligne and boy did our jaws drop!

It was the clearest and bluest lake we had ever seen in our lives! We packed a picnic dinner and enjoyed ourselves with many others! What a view! If you ever come for a visit, they do boat rides here or you can rent canoes and kayaks too!

Time to head back…the sun was still up and we still had some animal searching to do! Look at these views!

It was an adventurous first day in Jasper National Park! As if it couldn’t get any better…look what we arrived home to!!
