Many of my foreign friends have been korea. But almost of them just stayed in Seoul.
Yes, it is true that Seoul is beautiful city and the best place to go for tourists who travel in korea for the first time.
But as a korean who have traveled a lot in korea for 20 years, i'm going to tell you about one of best places to go in korea.

The place in the picture is 'Anapji Pond' in Gyeongju. I took this picture inJanuary 2018 on the trip to Gyeongju.
'Anapji Pond' is a garden of Silla kingdom which show us the splendor of Silla royal culture.
According to the records of King Munmu in 674, It is said that they made a mountain by digging a pond in the palace fortress to raise 'the golden dragon' that was planted with plants. 'Anapji Pond' was created at that time.
Entrance fee to Anapji is about 1.5$(2000KW) for adults, 0.5$(600KW)for childern.
This place is beautiful even during the day, but I recommend to go at night.

Within a ten-minute walk, there is important place to go.

This tower called 'Cheomseongdae' is astronomical observatory of the silla kingdom.
'Cheomseongdae' was made during the reign of Queen Seonduk. And there are few theories about purpose.
made for observe stars, altar for the Conservatism of the Gods, etc.
About the structure, It's a cylindrical shape with a square door on the south side. And at the bottom of the door, it's filled with rubble.
Admission is free.
And there are so many place to go, but i've chosen two places which are my best in Gyeongju.
'Gyeongju' is the most chosen place for school trip in Korea.
So far, I introduced the tourist attraction in 'Gyeongju'. Next time, i'll introduce other place to go in korea.
