Hello my dear friends! I invite you to a virtual tour of the Western Ukraine. Today, we continue our tour and go to the historic restaurant "Golden Peacock".
I already told you that my husband and I settled in a hotel in the city Beregovo. The city is very beautiful and has preserved many historical monuments. One of them is the restaurant "Golden Peacock". Why history? I'll tell you.The restaurant is the most beautiful in the city. Once it was the casino, which is also called the "Golden Peacock". I'll tell you that the restaurant is still hovering spirit of old times. The intricate murals on the walls, stained glass, live music and much more is left of the old times.My husband and I went to this restaurant and to show you the beauty of this restaurant.
The history of the restaurant.
In terms of beauty Coast no building can not be compared with "golden peacock." Multi-storey corner building on a rich and varied decorations, facade decorated with exquisite avant-corps, fences, frames, ceramic mosaics, made in the image of golden peacock pieces, and its outer corner part - tower. Impressive also variety of roof restaurant decorated tower, double roofs, Attica, patterned separate parts, and so on. After World War II the building opened restaurant, which served as a favorite destination for entertainment and recreation Residents of the city Beregovo. In the 80s the building was restored, the work was done with great caution, all the elements were in their original condition, have been restored violated elements of decoration. It was also extended festive hall and decorated with magnificent frescoes. Because of the economic crisis, which was observed at the time of independence of Ukraine in the early 90 years, the number of visitors to the restaurant declined to almost zero. When it was purchased in early 2003, the new owner immediately had to begin to repair the roof structure to restore its external and internal plaster. The building has and hotels "Golden Peacock", but we were only in the restaurant.In the hotel "Golden Peacock" has 15 comfortable rooms standard and deluxe polyulyuks. The rooms are furnished with wooden furniture. There is also air conditioning, a bathroom, and each offers free parking.
