Hello my dear friends. Today I will tell you about the National Opera of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko. Full name The National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko.
There is a national opera in Vladimirskaya Street, 50. The existence of this building began back in the times of the Russian Empire in 1867.
Many people consider the building of the opera an architectural gem. And it is true. And in this building there was a murder, which went down in history. During the second intermission of the play "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" Stolypin was killed.
Visit the national opera during your visit to Kiev. If you do not like opera, then just walk through the halls. Look at the greatness of architecture. You'll like it.
