Colón Theatre. Buenos Aires, Argentina. More than 100 years serving the world!
One of the five best theaters in the world! The Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra made his presentation that night that I had the opportunity to visit the Colón Theatre.
On May 25th, it is 110 years since its inauguration in 1908, this theater delights us with its impressive facilities, the main hall has a capacity for 2478 spectators, in addition to the 120 musicians who can perform on stage and 500 people stand. It is wonderful! The elegance and distinction is felt in the place, the decoration has an artistic style in golden color with red upholstery.
Its history goes back to 1857 when its first building was founded, which worked until 1888 to be today the Banco Nación. My visit was accompanied by some friends, we were located at the top of where the view was splendid, we enjoyed happilly, so I wanted to share some of the pictures with you.
This venue has served for presentations of opera and classical music of great importance, not for anything is among the best in the world, visitors come together to enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere and especially the extraordinary acoustics.
Buenos Aires is more than tango, whether you know opera or not, you will surprise your senses by witnessing the display of culture and art at Colón Theatre.
