I'm visiting the Imperial Palace in Beijing！

The Imperial Palace in Beijing is the world's largest royal palace，It's construction started in 1406， covering an area of 720000 square metres，with a floor space of 150,000 square metres，and a moat of 12 metres in width.It's really a very famous place in the world!A very big gift from China!

I felt very happy can have such a great chance to visit here! The Imperial Palace as the residence of the emperor of the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty ，It's a very sacred place for the Chinese people！In ancient times，the civilian don't have any chance to enter the palace，except as a palace maid or a eunuch to server the biggest family！

the Hall of Supreme Harmony as ceremonial center of imperial power, and the largest surviving wooden structure in China. It is the symbol of the highest power in the hearts of the Chinese people. but unluckly，we have no chance to walk into this building !the only thing we can do was to take some pictures from its outside!

The Imperial Palace treasure Pavilion is also a very famous place which need to buy an extra ticket(20RMB). we can see lot's of ancient cultural relics（most of them are gold and silver jade ），from this place you will know a little about how rich an emperor would be!


when you walk around the Imperial Palace,you will know how powerful in ancient China!but it's really a great pity for me, I didn't have enough time to visit all the places!if you want to go there, I will recommend you to do some paperwork at first!you'd better know which route and which palaces you want to visit！
