North trip 2018 #PAKISTAN

North trip 2018:

((Trek towards basecamp))
Spending one night in deosai was always my dream. In previous 2 years, planned with some travel groups but got canceld.
This year, i didnt want to miss a chance so i started planning for (zindagi na mily gi dobara movie kind of) trip 3 months prior to the final date (yeah i was tht much excited 😁).
Discussing with friends, finalizing places, routes,searching hotel, bookings, rented vehical etc

When we told family n friends that we friends(girls) are plannig for this trip. Everone was like

My mother : I'm a kid with a kid 😃 If there something happend wrong etc etc.
Male friends: how u guys will manage alone(yeah 6 girls alone 😂). What will you do if your car make problems😂

I doubted our capibilties for a while too because the route was new for all of us even for the driver 😁
But okk yeahh let see what will happen(our thoughts)

And finally we packed our bags(with worried mothers instructions :D) n got away from home towards heaven ❤

Day 1: Islamabad to Naran (8 hours drive)
spent night in Naran.
Rafting done in kunhar river

Day 2: Naran to Rama meadows astore (8 hours drive)
Night spent at ptdc rama(location of motel is in between the valley with pine trees around. Mesmerizing❤❤
No signals coverege

((Deosai Plain))
Day 3: Day for rama lake trek.
One n half hour from valley (half on jeep half on foot)
Lunch back at ptdc n left for tarshing village(3 hours drive)
Night spent at village hotel which was not top notch but with basic necessities so we survived
(Again no signal area)

Day 4: big day(trekking day to the rupal face basecamp of Nanga parbat)
Trek duration 4 to 5 hours(one side)
Did it with toddlar carrying around(hats of to my sister Rabia Maqbool❤)
Our guide for that day n hotel owner was too impressed 😂( aik to akeli larkian agyin han aur sath mn bacha bhe 😂 )
Reached at basecamp till 2pm. Had Tea and some snacks.
Met some foreign climbers
Took pictures n spent some time there and then started trek back to hotel.
At the last ledge of trek, we were looking like zombies,👺
reached back at hotel 8 clock in night.

Day 5: Deosai ❤. Tarshing to Deosai (7hours drive)
Visted sheosar lake on way(beautifull lake i ever sen)

Bara pani(had lunch there)
Night stay at shatong nala (45 mints away from bara pani)
Deosai spring was at its peak. There were pink purple yellow white flowers everywhere
Deosai plains are famous for brown bears habitate. But unfortunately nobody see brown bear without us. 😾
Night was clear with stars and milkyway so pictures were amazing.
We had barbque and bonefire and sang silly songs
Temp was too low and night was windy.freezing scene

We girls were the only group there except hotel owner n 2 wwf person. But it felt more than safe.
Later in night some other group also arrived there.
(Only scom sim works in deosai)

Day 6: back to naran from deosai(10 hours)
Night stay at naran

Day 7: back to ISLAMABAD

We felt totally safe in the whole trip.Didnt face any issue(except one tire puncher and our driver's long stories of his travels 😜)
People of that region are so helping. So you wont face any problem even if you go solo.
