With love from Varaždin :)

Hello !

Today i decided to write something about Varaždin. Varaždin is a town in the northwest of Croatia, 77 km to the north of the capital of Croatia — Zagreb, it stands on the Drava river, and is the administrative centre of the Varaždin region. The first written mention of the town dates back to the 12th century.
That is little city in the Croatia. He is our "little Vienna". In 18th century Varaždin was the capital of Croatia and the Parliament and the Royal Council established by Queen Maria Theresa was held there. Every year in Varaždin you can visit Špancir fest, a festival during which the city is ruled by artists, street entertainers and musicians. Festival visit more than 100,000 to enjoy the interesting performances, exhibitions and concerts.

40 km away from Varazdin there lies an ancient Neogothic castle for romantic people — Trakošćan! This is picture from google, because I've never been there (shame on me!!!).

And now my favorite place in this city!
VARAŽDIN CITY MUSEUM....The Museum departments include four permanent museum exhibitions: Culture and History Department in the Old Town, Entomological Department in the Herzer Palace and the Gallery of Old and Contemporary Masters in the Sermage Palace. The Archeological and History Department will soon open in the premises of the Herzer Palace, where visitors will be able to see yet another permanent display. Currently the Museum is trying to pay special attention to its visitors who belong to varied age groups, have different educational background and interests, taking into account everything that contributes to the profile of a visitor, aiming at teaching each one of them something new.
This Museum is in the center, but there is no noise, everyithing is so beautiful. Come and see, this is really peace of paradise.

I'm in love with this town since September 2015...you must visit this paradise!
