Innovative Adventures: Instant Translator

For the second time in my @sjennon lifetime, it is time for another Innovative Adventure! That means more startups, new stuff, cool stuff, gadgets, initiatives and more!

This episode I want to talk about Ili. I ran into in through Facebook and thought it'd be pretty cool to share!

Ili is an instant translator, focusing on the traveler. The latter makes the device also perfectly handheld due to its size which is comparable to the Apple TV remote (haha). The website claims it can translate within 0.2 seconds and works even without wi-fi.

Made special for travelers

The scope of this project is to make the world a smaller place. Without language barriers, you can get anywhere. It is suggested that the user uses simple sentences to make the whole process a lot easier (obviously).

So far, it is only available in a couple of languages:

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any customer reviews, however websites such as Wired and Business Insider have been very enthusiastic about the product.

What about the mula

Right now, the price reaches almost 200 bucks, but I assume in a couple of years - maybe even months - such devices will probably more than affordable.
