What did they mine there? It's more like the inside of a public building, with all those brick walls and smooth ceilings and floors. It's hard to imagine mining and digging for a resource, inside what looks like an underground office building hallway :)
This mine is located in Ukraine, near the Dniester River.
And the people did it for several decades of continuous work.
