Tsey Gorge in the Caucasus Mountains

In the Caucasus, there are many beautiful places, but I really like the Tsey gorge, this gorge is located in one of the picturesque corners of North Ossetia, at the very foot of the majestic Monk mountain on the banks of the beautiful river with the fabulous name Skazdon.

And this is a monument to George the Victorious - the main saint and patron of the Ossetian people! I remember how he was transported by helicopter, then many residents of the city, as if fascinated, looked at this event! He was fastened on twenty-two meters high to the rock only part of the rider's cloak.

Here the sun wakes up very early, and late "goes to sleep." Tourists all day skiing, sledging and skating, and the local nature admires all guests of the alpine camp "Tsey".

In Tsey for tourists, various exciting mountaineering and skiing routes have been developed. And in the summer, in these places you will find different heights of waterfalls, and mountain swift rivers. Two ropeways work at your campsite.

On such a pair of cable cars, you can ride at any time of the year, and it works up to 16 hours. From the height you will see a view of the delightful Skazsky Glacier. These blocks are not often seen, their thickness reaches 15 meters.

In the alpine "Tsey" often conduct different competitions among tourists, competitions, rallies of bardic songs, here no one will be bored!

If you do not have skis with you, do not despair, at the rental office everything is: both snowboards, and sports equipment, and skis, and sleds, and snowmobiles.

In Tsey is good not only in winter, but in summer there is much to do! The mountains are beautiful at any time of the year!

But on this road we will go back to Vladikavkaz! In winter, these places are strewn with soft, sparkling sun, snow.

Having rolled on such a cable way, in summer, you can choose for yourself a special area for tent parking, or book a place in the hotel in advance. In winter, of course, it is better to spend the night in a hotel.

In the Tsey gorge there is also a mini-zoo in which you can not only look at the animals, but also feed them. An exciting lesson!
