The financial capital of Europe is Zurich

Arriving in Zurich, you immediately understand that you are in the financial capital of Europe. Around a huge number of banks, and people, people in business suits everywhere. The city is located on the northern shore of the beautiful Lake Zurich and is considered the largest city in Switzerland.

As it was beautiful, the place is simply charming. And how many things had to be looked at: the old town hall, and I wanted to see the landscape park of the XIX century "Belvoir" in the Enge area on the western shore of the lake, and visit the observation deck of the Charles Tower, which is part of the Grossmunster Cathedral, and look at the city from The height of a bird's flight.

But, first of all decided to look in one cafe with a modest name "Rathaus Cafe".

The cafe is very cozy, and what a beautiful view of the Limmat River opens, you really do not know whether to look at this magnificence or enjoy a chef fondue with aromatic coffee :-)

Immediately, not far away, you will see the Town Hall of the end of the XVII century, although it is so high that it can be seen almost from anywhere in the city. And adorning its magnificent golden lions, which are the symbol of Zurich.

What I liked about the city was the Zurich Observatory and Lindenhof (Lime Court). Created in the 15th century, this Zurich park was and remains one of the most beautiful places in the city. It is very beautiful and picturesque!

I also liked such a calm river called Limmat. You can take a boat and enjoy the beauties of Zurich on the other side. Limmat is the right tributary of the River Are, it is not very large, its length is about 36 kilometers, and it flows from the beautiful Lake Zurich and flows through the cantons of Zurich and Argau.

And it seemed to me that the water in this river often changes color, why I do not know, maybe lighting, maybe some algae, but the water in it is dirty - gray, then blue, and sometimes quite turquoise. I like watching the water very much, that's probably why I discovered this feature ... In Zurich, everything is wonderful! And exquisite shops, with amazing Swiss cheeses and fragrant chocolate, and expensive but high-quality assembly watches, and Swiss cuisine ...

I did not like Zurich just one thing - expensive housing! Any accommodation in this city is more expensive than in Bern, Lausanne or Geneva. Having arrived here you should "rob" in the beginning any bank :-)

You can talk about the city for hours, but it's better to see everything with your own eyes.
