Mysterious Vienna

in #travel7 years ago

Vienna is for me a real treasury of Europe, one of the smallest, but the busiest of its cities.

Vienna is a city you fall in love with at first sight. It is different every year, it is attractive and energetic, it is magnificent and refined, it is rainy and gloomy, but always memorable.

But the most culminating creation of Baron Hansen in the Ringstrasse area is the parliament building, built in the late 19th century. An amazing architectural structure, which immediately attracts the attention of tourists. Under the ramp of parliament, a fountain with a statue of Athena Pallada, the Greek goddess of wisdom is installed.

And below is a photo of the Vienna City Hall, which is also called the New Town Hall, because until 1883 the city council was located on Wiepleplinger Street.

Coming to Vienna, immediately go to the coffee shop DEMEL, order a cup of coffee, and I can sit all day and enjoy the Viennese color. Each cafe in Vienna has its own history and unique atmosphere. And everywhere they will treat you like a person of royal blood. The firm delicacy of this coffee house is coffee with grated chocolate. You can also try coffee with cinnamon, whipped cream, honey, rum, egg yolk, cherry liqueur, cognac, sugar powder and lemon peels. Nowhere else you will not try, you can believe me.

On such an open retro bus you can make a tour of the city, view historical monuments and capture the Viennese sights. Some of my pictures were taken from it, so please forgive the quality of the photos. I like to contemplate rather than take pictures ...

Here we come to the monument to the genius Mozart, and his house in Vienna was turned into a musical center named after the great composer - Mozarthouse. On 4 floors of this house there are many old exhibits with which visitors can imagine what the composer's life was when he lived in his apartment and wrote wonderful symphonies.

And this is a monument to the first beauty of Austria Elizabeth of Bavaria, who was known as the standard of femininity and was very afraid to grow old. Sisi, in Austria very much loved, she survived many tragedies, and died at the hands of a terrorist in 1898. There are very beautiful alleys, well-groomed lawns, I like to visit here when I come to Vienna.

Every monument of Vienna is a whole story! This is the very area of ??In-der-Burg, in the old days it was here that the trial of people accused of this or that atrocities was carried out. Knights' tournaments were organized on this square, and later military parades. In the center of the square stands a monument to Franz Josef I, and the monument's base is surrounded by statues of Peace, Justice, Power and Faith.

And here is the magnificent architectural complex of Schönbrunn - a real pearl of Austria and one of the main sights of Vienna. Here I can walk for hours, I like to wander through wonderful alleys, enjoy the aroma of flowers and listen to the inimitable singing of birds. This palace has a long and glorious history, when it was the residence of the Habsburgs.

Ehh, it's great to ride such a carriage in pleasure ...
