There are cities - heroes, cities - millionaires there are also happy cities in which the past merges with the present, having visited in which you can not forget their discreet but dear to you features. Nostalgia takes possession of you and you are already on the bank of the Kura River, you feel the aroma of freshly baked pies of "khachapuri".

I want to start my story about Tbilisi from the cathedral of Tsmind Sameba. It is the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, which was built in Avlabari on the hill of St. Elijah. Its height is 101 meters. Today it is the largest cathedral in Georgia. It can be seen from almost everywhere.

On the territory of the cathedral, next to the main entrance there is a wonderful cafeteria. Here you can taste the best lemonade "Lagidze" in Georgia on the basis of branded syrups.Of course you have heard about the "waters of Laghidze".

A long time ago, in 1887, the apothecary Mitrofan Lagidze lived, who invented this soft drink based on Georgia's mineral waters and natural raw materials - syrups and essences. They say that the Laghidze's waters were the favorite soda of IV Stalin, and bottles with this water stood on the tables during the Yalta Conference of 1945. In the menu there are 5 tastes: lemon, cherry, tarragon, creamy and chocolate. My favorite creamy with lemon. Also Lagidze is famous for some of the best khachapuri in Tbilisi, they are made here unusually delicious.

Then be sure to visit the funicular, but do not forget that the Funicular is only open at 1:00 pm, which is not surprising because Tbilisi wakes up late, and who, besides tourists, wants to have breakfast in the sanity of Mtatsminda Mountain early in the morning?

Next, I'll tell you a little about Rick Park. Local people consider him the heart of Tbilisi. On holidays here organize various fairs, festivals are held, concert platforms are constructed. The main attraction of the park is the Bridge of Peace, which was opened 7 years ago.
