JIM BEAM STILLHOUSE

My most recent escapade took me to beautiful Clermont, Kentucky; famous for the Jim Beam Distillery. Now I've only recently started to become a bourbon fan, but Devil's Cut on the rocks has to be my favorite drink. I couldn't pass on the opportunity to stop and take the tour! The Adult (21+) price was only 14$ (well within the budget of most college students), and you get a nifty shot glass and three sample tastings. The tour itself was thorough and informative. The tour takes you from the water well used in making the whiskeys all the way to the seemingly endless walls of aging barrels. About half way through taking the tour you are given the opportunity to buy a bottle of knob creek from their single barrel reserve and put your fingerprint into the wax seal. This is of course something that I had to do. If anybody reading this lives near or finds themselves in Kentucky, I definitely would recommend stopping by the Jim Beam Distillery. Well worth it!
