Great post, thanks for sharing. There are some great shore excursions and definitely worth doing! We did another small river (but not the same one) . Goddess River looks like it offers a bit more with the cultural side of things. Fengdu Ghost city was a very cool excursion - even if some of the carvings were a little freaky!
Unfortunately, my wife and I signed up for Fengdu but it was cancelled because there was not enough interest. I did get some photos as we passed. I already talked about Three Gorges Dam. Aside from this trip and the dam, we had one other excursion. A pagoda excursion that I am in the process of writing about now! Shibaozhai Pagoda.
